The commercial was enough to raise my blood pressure and turn my stomach. I spent a year teaching English in Mainland China.

This movie is a very well acted movie. Everyone should see it. Richard Gere and Bai Ling are perfect in this movie. This movie gives you an insight to the Chinese Legal system.

Whatever you do, don’t mess up in the People’s Republic of China. That’s the message I received from this film. Richard Gere and Bai Ling do an excellent job in this film.

This is a poignant film about today’s world and how change can come to a country, any country. In this case we are dealing with China.
